www.genamet.com (the “website”) is a site that sells scheduling and clinic management software which allows doctors and clinic owners manage all their appointments across locations and various staff (appointments scheduling), patients to manage their health records in electronic form (patient portal) in addition to doctors having the facility of managing patient records and patient encounters in a safe and secure manner (electronic health record or EHR).

The Genamet software is owned by Wisdomleaf Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India and carrying a company unique identification number U72200KA2003PTC032027.

We take data protection very seriously and understand the importance and necessity of securing and protecting your privacy and personal information. We process personal information as detailed here unless we inform you otherwise. Please do not submit and personal information to us (either yours or that of your patients/customers) if you do not wish us to collect it. This privacy policy covers the websites, scheduling software, patient portal and EHR created and/or run by our Genamet software. Our websites contain links to other websites. This privacy policy applies only to Genamet and other websites that are run using the Genamet software. We strongly encourage you to review separately the privacy policies of websites that link from Genamet.

Collecting personal information

We may collect your personal data from various sources including you, an existing client, public domain, marketing databases, social media, meetings/events and conferences when you express interest in knowing more about the products and services that we offer. We collect your name, email address, company/clinic name, telephone number and address. Information about you may also be collected using software applications made available for use by us and mobile applications, cookies and other tools such as online content.

Genamet collects personal information from you during and after the process of purchasing a service. Genamet may require you to provide information on your credit card number, billing address, company name, telephone number and the number of service providers/staff within your company/organization, among others.

Our clients manage all their appointments and the patient details using the Genamet Software Application. Our clients (doctors, providers and clinics) may collect the personal information of their clients/customers/patients and this information is also available with us. We do not use this information in any way nor do we claim ownership of such information. Each of the clients using Genamet is responsible for providing notice to their clients/customers/patients with regard to the purpose and processing of this personal data. In certain cases, the contacts/medical records of a client or those with a client including name, email, telephone number and address, among others, is imported by clients for effectively using the Genamet software. We use this information only for the purpose for which it was imported and do not claim ownership over such data. We also do not use this information for any other purpose.

Using personal data

Your personal data is used by us in the following ways. The list is not exhaustive.

We use your personal information to communicate with as part of ongoing business. Periodically we do change our policies, terms and conditions and add/remove new features to the website/app. During the course of any or all these happening we communicate with you to keep you abreast of the latest changes. We also periodically seek feedback on your experience with our website/app and reach out to you to seek feedback as part of market research and analysis. We also use such feedback to provide training to our staff to improve the quality of service provided. In certain cases we send marketing and other information about other products and services offered by our partners and select third party providers and deliver news articles, bulletins, information snippets and mailers/SMS. Your personal information is used to facilitate social media sharing functionality besides personalizing the experience on the Website/App by presenting tailored and personalized messages. We also use your personal information to manage our infrastructure and business operations in addition to managing business continuity, data/website hosting and auditing/collections. We may use aggregate statistical information about visitors and their behavior for internal use and/or for any lawful purposes including for improving our products and services and to target potential clients. We may also provide this information to clients, advertisers and other reputed third parties. This information, if provided, will be in anonymous form and will not include any personal information.

Your personal information may be shared in line with applicable laws such as those on money laundering and terrorism, and regulatory obligations including laws outside your country of residence. Data can also be shared to establish and defend legal rights and protect our operations and pursue remedies to minimize our damages.

Sharing personal data

Genamet may make available your personal information to our group companies. The group company will use your personal information in line with the purposes laid out in this privacy policy. Genamet will remain responsible for the jointly used personal information. Personal information may be made available to our business partners and third party service providers such as accountants, lawyers and data storage and cloud providers and other professional advisors in addition to outsourced vendors. Please also review the “Using personal data” section. Please also note that Genamet uses a third party service provider to process payments made using credit cards. The credit card processor is expected not to use personal information other than for the sole purpose of processing the credit card payment on Genamet’s behalf.

Information that you provide during the course of using the Genamet application is in the public domain as a result of which copyright and confidentiality are relinquished. Please exercise caution while providing personal and proprietary information that would eventually get published during the course of use of the Genamet application.

Processing your personal data

Genamet will occasionally send promotional material with your consent. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Genamet also processes your personal data to fulfill the contract with you. Genamet will also process your data when it is in the legitimate interest of Genamet and when these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights. Legitimate interests include selling Genamet services and products to clients, ensuring integrity and security of our Website/Apps, protecting clients and employees, carrying out Genamet specific promotional initiatives, understanding client needs and requirements, handling queries and resolving customer service issues and fulfilling our obligations to clients, vendors, suppliers and shareholders. Genamet shall cooperate with any legitimate requests made by Governmental agencies and law enforcement agencies involved in preventing, investigating and detecting crime.

Obtaining personal information from a third party agency

In some cases we may obtain your personal information from online/offline sources (referrals from existing clients). This information may be available to us from publicly available information such as in LinkedIn and from marketing databases. If information from third party sources is of no use to us or where you have notified to us that you do not wish us to provide you with our products and services, we shall discard it. In certain cases we may retain this information. You do have the right to object to processing in line with your “Rights” outlined separately.

Retaining your data

We would generally not retain your data for more than five years from the last date when we provided our services unless there is a legal or contractual obligation to do so. In case you would want your personal information to be deleted before the expiry of the time period, please contact us at solutions@genamet.com. In certain circumstances we may retain your personal information beyond the five year period.

Changes to the privacy policy

We review this privacy policy periodically and reserve the right to make changes in line with our business requirements, commercial practices and changes in laws governing different countries/regions.

Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold, object to our processing of your data where it is processed based on legitimate interest but there are no compelling grounds to continue processing that data, request that your data be erased and request that inaccurate and incomplete data be rectified by providing correct information. Please note that we may retain a record of this request and the action taken in order to preserve evidence of our compliance. International Transfer of Personal Information

The nature of our global business may necessitate the transfer of your personal information to third party service providers including to countries where they may have a lower level of data protection. In such situations, we transfer the minimum amount of data necessary in addition to anonymizing it where possible. We also enter into stringent legal contracts with an aim to ensure that these third party vendors handle your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy and provide adequate data protection as prescribed by European data protection laws.

Manage/delete personal information

Information about anyone accessing our site is stored by us. This information is anonymous. Access to the features provided by Genamet is available only when you log in to the account. Users under a client of Genamet are managed by the admin of the client. The login functionality is protected by your password and may be shared only by you. Please do not share your password with anyone else. You can manage the information in your account by logging to your account. You may also edit the settings in your profile. Please contact us at solutions@genamet.com in case you want us to delete your personal information. If you are a customer of our client this may not be possible always. All requests will be attended to within a reasonable period of time. You can also contact your site admin to correct/update any information.

Security

Genamet is committed to keeping your personal data safe and preventing any unauthorized access. Some of the security best practices that we follow include the encryption of all data where possible, continuous training of our employees and vendors with special emphasis on security and ISO27001 best practices. All our employees and contractors are subject to contractual confidentiality and their employment/contract is terminated if they fail to meet their contractual obligations. We restrict physical access to personal information and ensure that our information security policies including storage, processes and physical security are reviewed regularly.

Children and minors

Genamet’s services are not directed towards individuals below the age of 18 years. Our clients are in all cases expected to be more than 18 years. Our clients may have children as their patients due to the nature of our business of helping clients manage their appointments and manage their client’s health records. These appointments are however likely to be booked by individuals above the age of 18 years. Individuals below the age of 15 years are prohibited from using our Website/Apps unless this is done under parental guidance.

Third party privacy policies

We do not take any responsibility for the personal data collection policies and practices of third party sites that link from our site/app. The personal data collected by our clients are exclusively for the purpose of managing the appointments and health records and we do not control their use of any information that they have access to as part of receiving our services.

Content Rights

The content in the site is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. No copying of the content in this site is permitted for any commercial or business use.

Liability

We do not accept liability for any direct or indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of Genamet’s software including the sites of our clients that run using the Genamet software application. You also agree to keep us indemnified against all costs, losses and liabilities arising from the use/misuse of Genamet’s Websites/Apps or that of the clients of the Genamet Software Application.
